Meet the Team

Dr. Mary Jane Healey is of East Indian descent and is native to Seattle.  She has been practicing in the Seattle area since 2001.  She received her Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Pre Medicine at the University of Washington in 1994.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science in 1999 and her Doctorate in Optometry in 2001 at the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry.

She completed ocular disease training at the Missouri Eye Institute in St. Louis Missouri as well as the American Lake Veterans' Administration Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.  She monitors patients for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and hypertensive retinopathy among many other conditions, and performs pre-operative exams and post-operative co-management for Lasik and Cataract surgery.

In addition, Dr. Healey specializes in fitting contact lenses to manage astigmatism, bifocals, multifocal toric (astigmatism), and rigid gas permeable lenses.

Dr. Healey is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.  She works with the Lion's Club to donate her services to underprivileged children to ensure they get the eye care and vision correction that they need to succeed in school.

 Jules is the clinic administrator for Healey Vision, a position she has held since 2009. With over a decade of experience in the field, Jules has a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to running a successful clinic. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the clinic's operations, including managing staff, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that the facility is running smoothly. Jules is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for the patients and is known for her compassionate and professional approach. Under her leadership, Healey Vision has become a respected and trusted healthcare provider in the community. 

Healey Vision has a dedicated staff of Ophthalmic Testing Technicians, Opticians,  Contact Lens Technicians, Frame Specialists, Patient Care Coordinator and Billing Administrator to provide you with the best possible vision and aesthetics services.
